We’re moving

We are moving office on 24 February 2025.

If you are currently accessing our services, you can still call the person you normally work with and they will help. This won’t change once we’ve moved offices.

During the week before we move, our office hours at Rintoull Street will change:

  • Monday 17 February, 9.00am – 5.00pm: services operate as usual
  • Tuesday 18 February: our office is closed
  • Wednesday 19 February, 9.00am – 5.00pm: our reception and Emergency Relief are open
  • Thursday 20 February, 9.00am – 5.00pm: our reception and Emergency Relief are open
  • Friday 21 February our office is closed
  • Monday 24 February, 9.00am – 5.00pm: our new office is open at 131 Princes Drive, Morwell.

At our Rintoull Street service in Morwell we offer:

  • Food vouchers, food and material aid
  • Carer Gateway
  • Alcohol and other drug programs, including family reunification.

If you are experiencing financial hardship, we’re here to help. With a dedicated and compassionate team of staff and volunteers at our Morwell location, we provide a safe, welcoming environment where you will be heard and respected.

Our emergency relief services in Morwell offer practical resources and a listening ear from someone who cares. You can receive:

  • Food
  • Personal care items
  • Household items
  • Financial support
  • Links to other services.

Am I eligible?
Emergency Relief recipients must be unable to afford to pay a bill or an imminent risk of being unable to pay a bill, to be eligible for this service. There are exceptions on a case-by-case basis.

What to bring to your first visit:

  • Your ID
  • Health care or concession card
  • Shopping bags.

If you are experiencing financial issues because of your own or someone else’s gambling, our specialised financial counselling service can help. Financial Counselling is a free service where information, options and support are provided to people experiencing financial difficulties. We can help you draw on your own resources, resolve problems and explore options to make life choices clearer.
